A Gathering of Women wanting to understand the men’s mental health crisis.

Here we’ll suspend our old stories to imagine our male counterparts as expressions of nature just like us, situating their epidemic depression within the context of the larger ecological crisis.

This event is one of three I’ll be facilitating during the first two weeks of August on the outskirts of Macroom in County Cork, Ireland, as recipient of the inaugural Dolla ‘is Maide Creative Residency hosted by Meitheal Mara founder, master boatmaker, and contemporary dancer Pádraig Ó Duinnín.

My time will be divided between leisurely art research (including, hopefully, lots of chatting with the locals!), and co-facilitating structured conversations alongside Pádraig at his ruggedly beautiful homestead.
